A Sad Day

Yesterday my grandfather passed away. He was 84 years old. He and my grandma celebrated their 65th anniversary this past November. They had nine children together which has so far resulted in 26 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren. He also served his country during WWII as a gunman specialist. He was the first one in and the last one out in Okinawa.

He will be forever remembered as a man of honor, integrity, and kindness. He went peacefully surrounded by his family and with his wife at his side.

Rest in peace Grandpa. We will miss you tremendously!

What a great picture of your grandpa---he looks like such a happy man! He and your Grandmother certainly had a long life together, that's wonderful! Losing someone you love is always hard, no matter how old. I'm thinking of you, Amber!
